Skipper the Pelican
Mascot Name: Skipper
Full name: Skipper the Pelican
Official title: Chief Shade Officer of LAKE Sunglasses
Skipper was born on the docks of Lake Austin with one goal in life: eat well, fly low, and never miss a boat party.
In his early days, he was a bit of a mess. He stole sandwiches, crash-landed into paddleboards, and once tried to flirt with a lawn flamingo for three straight days. Confidence? Plenty. Direction? Not so much.
Then came the legendary summer glare.
One blazing Texas afternoon, Skipper dove after what he thought was the biggest fish of his life. Turns out, it was just the sun bouncing off the water. He missed the fish, clipped a cooler, knocked over someone’s ranch water, and landed beak-first in a pile of boat towels.
Embarrassing? Absolutely.
That’s when someone handed him a pair of LAKE Sunglasses.
Suddenly, the lake made sense. He could see the fish, spot the party dock, avoid awkward landings, and look ridiculously cool doing it. From that day on, Skipper became the unofficial guardian of good lake days.
Now he cruises above Lake Austin, keeping watch for bad vibes, cheap sunglasses, and anyone squinting through summer like an amateur.
Skipper represents what LAKE is all about: sunshine, water, adventure, and not taking life too seriously.
He’s bold, a little cheeky, always shaded, and fully committed to one simple belief:
Lake life looks better through LAKE.
